| One of the premier acoustic guitar duos in the United States, Melonbelly has been entertaining audiences together for nearly 6 years. Individually, Clifton Castelloe and Burke Long have each fronted their own bands and solo projects, but in 2003 they decided to combine forces. The result has truly made Melonbelly one of the new acoustic acts to watch. In 2008, they received TOP ROCK DUO IN THE US honors from GigMasters, and won READER'S CHOICE AWARD for FAVORITE WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT from The Bride's Book Magazine for the third year in a row. They continue to write, record, and promote their original music, while managing a demanding number of show dates. |

Burke Long |

Burke Long specializes in music of the American South with influences such as Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Tom Petty. He has opened shows for the Jayhawks, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Patty Loveless. He was selected twice to perform at the BMI Crossroads Showcase in Memphis, TN, once fronting his own band and the second time |
as a solo acoustic artist. He recently completed his new CD, Cold Winter Moon. Burke also owns and operates his own recording studio in Concord, NC (DB Recording).
